What is in the name
This KingCamp Low Sling camping chair is from the group of folding chairs, those that you open and close like an umbrella. So this type is exceptionally easy to use and there is no assembly.
The chair has yet another important feature, and this is its solid armrests. Such a design adds to the comfort, but also to the weight as well.
It comes with a bonus cup holder and you also have a nice carry bag with a strap so you can carry it attached to the shoulder or on your back.
Who is it for
Size-wise, the chair is rather low with the seat at 7.9/4.7 inches (20/12 cm) above the ground front/back. But the dimensions are reasonable, you will see how it compares with some other models, there is a comparison table below. The seat width is 20.8 inches (53 cm). Capacity-wise, it is rather moderate with its 300 lb (136 kg). I would expect to see more from such a steel frame. But I guess the sling determines the capacity.
Weight-wise, it is lightweight for a folding chair, it weighs only 6.6 lb (3 kg). The packed size is not bad, you can store it in its carry bag which is with the dimensions 30.7 x 7.9 x 5.1 inches (78 x 20 x 13 cm), see the picture below.
All in all, the chair might be too low for elderly users who might find it difficult to get in and out of it. But it has solid armrests and this helps a loot. The weight and packed size are such that you can transport it even on a bicycle and on a motorbike.

Materials & construction
The frame is a powder-coated steel so it should not rust. The fabric is a breathable and comfortable reinforced mesh. The cup holder is the same fabric as the chair.
The feet are oversized and the material used here is a sort of a very hard plastic. So this is a floor-friendly design and you can use it in a tent without issues. It will not sink easily on a soft ground.

Final thoughts
So the KingCamp Low Sling Beach Camping Folding Chair is indeed a very stable structure with a great feet design. As usual with this type of folding chairs, it is easy to have it ready and to take it down. The price is more than fair for such an item. It is included in my list of best lightweight beach chairs.
