What type of camping chair is this
It is as the name says, big and tall, a folding-type chair which you open in seconds, so there is no assembly of any kind. You take it down equally fast, just as you would close an umbrella. Because of such features, I have included it in my list of best folding camping chairs.
The frame is steel, so this explains its weight and capacity. They have added a Seat Drain system which empties eventual water from the seat, see the picture below, it is with Coleman’s logo. The chair is also with some light padding between the two layers of the fabric.
Who is it for
Capacity-wise, this is one of those that can take a lot. Its declared capacity is 600 lb (272 kg). So this is a chair very suitable for heavy people.
Size-wise, it is as the name says, a very large chair with the seat size of (W x D) 24 x 19 inches (61 x 48 cm). Note that it is also moderately high with the seat at 19 inches (48 cm) above the ground. You have adjustable armrests with bars on the front so getting in and out should be easy even for older users.

Weight-wise, with 9.9 lb (4.5 kg) this is a heavy tool. Its packed size 38.2 x 7.9 x 7.1 inches (97 x 20 x 18 cm) is such that you need a car for transportation. So do not plan to carry it anywhere, if this is what you need, check these collapsible camping chairs or these ultra-lightweight chairs.
Bonuses
On the left armrest you have an oversized cup holder built from a mesh. On the other armrest, you have the CellPort, a water-resistant cell phone sleeve so you can use the phone while it is still protected. It is with a clear PVC case suitable for touchscreen displays. Both of these features are shown below:
Here you also have a media pocket in the phone sleeve flap which gives you extra storage for headphones and other stuff, see the picture.
The feet are with large plastic caps, see the picture above, so this is a floor-friendly design and they are less prone to sinking if used on a soft ground.

As of the moment of writing this text, the Amazon price for this chair is from $45 and up. So this is a very reasonable price for such a chair.

In the summary, this Coleman Big-N-Tall Quad Chair is a very strong and quality item, it comes with several bonuses and the price is right for the value.
