What this is about
As of the moment of writing this text, this is the chair with the greatest declared weight capacity on the market, and this is 1000 lb (454 kg).
This is also an easy to use folding chair without any specific assembly, you just spread it in seconds. So I have added it to my list of best folding camping chairs.
You have soft armrests, and they come equipped with a cooler and a bottle holder (see the pictures below).
It is lightly padded, and you also have a storage pouch on the side shown in the picture below. It comes with a carry bag included built as a tote bag with a shoulder sling. You also have a drawstring mesh pocket (14 x 15 inches) attached to the chair back.
Materials
The frame is very strong constructed with 22-mm diameter steel tubes. With the X-shaped support bars on all the sides, it is not surprising that the capacity is as mentioned above.
The fabric is also a high quality, fully padded 600D polyester. The feet are oversized nylon, see the picture below, and they provide traction for added stability. They are so wide that it is possible to use the chair even in a floored family camping tent, but add something underneath them if you are a really heavy person.
Who is it for
Regarding the capacity, you have seen this already, so this is a chair for the heaviest possible users. In view of its features, I have included it in my list of best camping chairs for heavy people, and it is the champion there.
Regarding the dimensions, the chair is quite appropriate for its weight capacity. So the seat is wide with its (W x D) 26.5 x 23 inches (67 x 58 cm), and it is 20 inches (51 cm) high above the ground.
So it is very suitable for tall users, and also for elderly people because of its armrests that make getting in and out easy.
The backrest is 23 inches (58 cm) high so this is good enough to offer a headrest for shorter users.
Regarding the weight, the chair looks heavy but see its huge capacity. It weighs 15 lb (6.8 kg), so it is indeed portable to short distances, but in general this is a chair for car camping.

I was actually very very disappointed in these I bought 2 for my sons’ camping trip and within three days one of them had already ripped through all of the weight is carried at the end of the armrest just passed the bottle holders. It just isn’t strong enough to hold the weight it claims
I didn’t wait for them to get out of the warranty. I return them for a refund. I highly recommend you keep your receipts

Pity there is no video to show you. Try to push diagonally towards the center, for example press the front corner and the opposite back corner to each orher.

Hi – I have been plagued by products that fail under my weight – 205 kg – even though well below the manufacturer’s ratings. The last one I imported into Australia was even called The Big Cahuna – it failed. I find that they fail at the nylon slides or feet usually the steel pins holding the joints together.
Does the 1000 lb item’s slides and steel pins have a higher rating or will they fail just like the others ??
