What this Night Cat Camping Cot Tent is about
Here you have a versatile product that includes two separate outdoor items that can be used together as a tent-cot (or cot-tent), with a tent sitting on the cot. This gives you an off-ground sleeping set.
But you can use the tent separately as a solo hiking tent and carry it in the backpack as a standard hiking or backpacking tent.
The same holds for the cot, it is built as a typical but very long collapsible cot that can be used for various purposes, at home or in a larger tent outdoors.
The cot
The cot is collapsible and this means it needs a simple assembly, but this is easily done and without any extra tools. In a couple of minutes you have your outdoor bed ready.
You start by adding side poles into the bed deck sleeves, and continue with legs, see how it is done:

The legs are with a locking design, and the cot comes with a set of legs extensions. This means you have two possible heights, so the cot can fit in any tent, no matter how low it may be.

Below you can see closer how the locking mechanism works:

Note that they have two width options for the cot on the market, 27.5 inches and 31.5 inches.
The tent
The tent is a true two-layer shelter, with an inner tent that has plenty of mesh areas for ventilation (the the photo below), and a with a full coverage fly.

There is one door on the inner tent, and it is matched with a vestibule created by the fly. Both openings are wide for an easy access, see how they look together:

Below you can see some steps in setting the tent up. Note that it is supported with a nice frame with Y-shape on both sides. This is achieved by two integrated hub elements.

If you use the tent on its own, as a ground tent, it is fully frestanding. The flap on its perimeter will cover all the space around and this makes it suitable for colder environment.
The cross pole on the top creates lots of volume inside, and it makes the side walls completely vertical.
Ventilation
The inner tent has plenty of mesh areas on the canopy, see the photo below, so air can circulate in all directions. When the fly is on, you will combine this with two closable vents that are on the narrow sides of the tent.
Being off ground, you will also have lots of air coming from below. There is nothing to object here, they have designed the tent properly from this perspective.

Materials
All the elements in the package are shown in the picture below. Note that this all packs into two separate carry bags.

All the poles are 7001 aluminum. You have two side poles for the cot, 16 poles for the legs extension, 4 shock-corded poles for the legs with plastic hub elements.
The tent pole is a single shock-corded aluminum element with integrated hubs and the roof cross pole.
The fabric is a combination of nylon used for the inner tent, and PU coated 190T polyester taffeta with 2000 mm rating used for the fly. The cot fabric is a polyester, there is no info about its denier value.
The inner tent connects to the cot with straps in the corners. The poles of the tent connect to the inner tent through grommets in the corners and numerous clips on the canopy.

Who is the Night Cat Camping Cot Tent for
Regarding the capacity, they write it is 330 pounds (150 kg), so this should be good enough for most of potential users.
Regarding the dimensions, the length of both cot options is the same 87 inches (221 cm), so this is quite impressive. In view of this, it is suitable for very tall people.

Above you can see the numbers for the narrow version. Observe that the cot is quite high with legs extensions, so in this setup it can be very suitable for elderly users.
It is high enough so that you can sit and cook like in the picture, though head space is limited. As a tent, it is quite low.

Regarding the weight, packed size & best use, the larger version weighs 13.2 lb (6 kg), and the narrower version 12.5 lb (5.7 kg).
In view of this, you would not want to carry it longer distances. But note that there are 16 aluminum legs extensions, so if you use it as a low cot, the weight will be drastically reduced.
The packed size of both packages is such that one can transport them even on a bicycle, see the numbers below.
I see it best suited for solo car camping, for fishing, and such activities. You are always elevated above uneven ground, and with this you avoid dampness, and cold. It is fully closable to protect you from insects and snakes.
When the sky is clear, you can use it without the fly and enjoy the stars, the mosquito net is there to protect you.
Regarding the price, it is simply incredible for such a versatile product. Please follow the links below for upodates.

Its thoughtful design, with features like adjustable cot heights, robust aluminum poles, and excellent ventilation, makes it a reliable choice for solo car campers, fishers, or anyone seeking an elevated, insect-free sleeping experience.
The affordable price point further enhances its appeal, offering great value for a product that adapts to various outdoor scenarios.

FAQ
Can the Night Cat Camping Cot Tent be used in extreme weather conditions?
The Night Cat Camping Cot Tent is designed for versatility, with a PU-coated 190T polyester fly rated at 2000 mm, offering decent protection against light to moderate rain. Its off-ground design helps avoid dampness and cold from the ground, and the full-coverage fly ensures a fully closable shelter against wind and insects.
However, it is not built for extreme weather like heavy storms or high winds, as the low tent height and lightweight materials may not withstand intense conditions. For severe weather, consider a more robust, four-season tent.
Is the cot suitable for heavier individuals or couples?
The cot has a weight capacity of 330 pounds (150 kg), making it suitable for most solo users, including heavier individuals.
However, it is not designed for couples, as the width options (27.5 or 31.5 inches) are tailored for single occupants. For heavier users, ensure proper setup with the locking legs and extensions to maximize stability.
If you are looking for a cot for two, you’d need a wider, specialized model designed for higher weight capacities.
How portable is the Night Cat Camping Cot Tent for backpacking?
While the tent can be used as a standalone backpacking tent, the combined weight of 12.5–13.2 pounds (5.7–6 kg) makes the full set less ideal for long-distance backpacking.
The separate carry bags for the tent and cot allow for some portability, such as attaching to a bicycle or carrying for short distances during car camping.
For extended hikes, consider using only the tent, which is freestanding and packs down to 16.9 x 5.5 x 5.1 inches, making it more manageable for solo backpackers.
How durable are the materials for long-term use?
The Night Cat Camping Cot Tent uses 7001 aluminum poles, which are lightweight yet strong, ensuring durability for regular outdoor use. The cot’s polyester fabric and the tent’s nylon and PU-coated polyester taffeta are robust for typical camping conditions, resisting tears and abrasions.
However, prolonged exposure to UV rays or rough handling could degrade the fabrics over time. Regular maintenance, like cleaning and storing dry, will extend the lifespan, making it a reliable choice for frequent campers.
