Here you have a two‑person cot with a two-layer tent. This means there is a canopy tent that is pre-attached to the cot, and this all is protected with a full-coverage fly.

Semi-instant design – what is this?
The two-person cot is folding type, so it is very easy to use, you simply unfold it and it is ready in seconds. The picture shows it in the first stage of unfolding when you extend the cot and the legs on the two ends automatically stretch out.
As mentioned above, the inner tent is pre-attached, but to have a canopy you have to put the supporting poles in place, see the picture. After that, you cover the structure with the fly.
In other words, there are a few steps to do to have it all ready, but this is all easily done in a couple of minutes.
As you realize from the picture above, the fly is massive and it protects everything including storage volume underneath the bed.
Doors and awning
Being the tent-cot for two, the tent has two large zippered doors shown in the picture below. This is paired with large flaps on the fly, with two side zippers which are visible in the picture above.
Because of such zippers, the flaps can be rolled up and fixed above the door, but you can also unzip them and create a large awning in front of the structure. Note that one pair of awning poles is included.
With such an awning you have a space in the shade, to sit in front of the shelter and also to use it for cooking.
Storage features
The double-wide cot is 11.8 inches (30 cm) above the ground, so the volume underneath it is huge and you can store lots of gear here and it will be fully protected from the rain.

Note that the structure has 9 legs that are supported with X-crossed stabilizing bars which you can see in the picture below. When expanded, the legs are locked in place. In other words, this elevated shelter is very stable to any lateral movement.
