Here you have my selection of best rated inflatable cots for camping in a variety of styles, all very functional and with great features.
The term inflatable camping cot can imply different designs:
- This can be a cot with a solid frame, but the bed deck is inflatable.
- It can be a cot with an inflatable frame and a set of solid slates that rest on this inflated frame.
- It can be an inflated platform without any solid element.
All these examples are presented here. Note that inflatable cots are a new trend on the market and currently there are no many of them available.

The cots in the list below are ordered by weight from heavier to lighter:
1. FLATED Air-Deck Raised Platform Bed
This is a completely unique inflatable sleeping system, there is nothing on the market even remotely similar to it.
There are no solid parts, but the structure is rock solid due to its unique technology, so much that you must use a sleeping pad on it for comfort.
They build it in three different sizes. It is very easy to use and with the capacity of 500 lb (227 kg).
The M version weighs 25 lb (11.3 kg), and its size is 72 x 53 inches (183 x 135 cm). So if this is small, no worry, they have an L version as well.
2. KingCamp Camping Air Bed Frame
This KingCamp Camping Air Bed Frame is an innovative inflatable cot with an inflatable perimeter frame and solid slates.
It is very easy to use, compact and lightweight for transportation. So the weight is 10.6 lb (4.8 kg), and the packed size is 29.5 x 7 x 7 inches (75 x 18 x 18 cm).
There is no assembly, this is all pre-attached, so you simply unfold and inflate it. A carry bag is included. Note that it is very long, the dimensions are (L x W x H) 78.7 x 27.5 x 9.8 inches (200 x 70 x 25 cm).
3. Hey Foly Folding Camping Cot with Mattress
This Hey Foly Folding Camping Cot with Mattress is incredibly feature-rich. It is with extendable legs as you realize from the picture.
But it is here because of its integrated inflatable pad with an integrated pump. The pad is 3.1 inches (7.8 cm) thick.
The cot is collapsible type, so it needs assembly, but this is why it is compact when packed, the dimensions are (L x D) 23.4 x 7 inches (59 x 18 cm).
Note also that it has an integrated pillow, and you also have some storage elements. The effective R-value of its pad is 1.7.
The weight is 9.5 lb (4.3 kg), and the dimensions are (L x W x H) 78.7 x 29.5 x 15/6.7 inches (200 x 75 x 38/17 cm).
4. TravelChair AirTite Cot
This looks like a standard collapsible cot, so this means it needs assembly. But the innovative feature here is it inflatable bed deck. So you have a cot and an air pad in one.
When folded, the structure is compact, it measures 24 x 8 x 6 inches (61 x 20 x 15 cm). The weight is 8 lb 8 oz (3.9 kg), so you can transport it on a bicycle.
The bed size is (L x W x H) 79.5 x 25.5 x 12 inches (202 x 65 x 30 cm). As you see, it is very long, and there are no end-bars here.
5. Decathlon Quechua Camping Inflatable Cot
When this cot appeared on the market, it was a totally unique design. It is large and functional, the dimensions are 78.7 x 27.6 inches (200 x 70 cm).
So here again you have inflatable perimeter walls that serve as a platform for solid slates. It can be described as light, it weighs only 8.4 lb (3.8 kg).
When packed, it measures (L x D) 30 x 5.1 inches (75 x 13 cm). The height is 9.8 inches (25 cm), so you have a storage space inside.
6. Big Agnes Goosenest Inflatable Cot
This looks like an inflatable mattress with extra features, but in my full text you can read why they call it a cot.
So here you do not have any solid part. This is all an inflatable platform. It can be attached to other items of the same type. It also has attachment points for the included cover.
The weight is 4 lb 1 oz (1.84 kg), and the packed size is 28 x 6 x 5.5 inches (71 x 15 x 14 cm). The thickness of its outer/inner area is 6/5 inches (15/13 cm).
It is quite long but the width is less impressive, it measures 78 x 26 inches (198 x 66 cm).
Final thoughts
So this was my selection of inflatable cots for camping, and I hope you realize how unique they are. Note that some need assembly, but this type is then compact when packed.
How to choose? Well, if you are a tall person, the length should be your parameter to consider.
On the other hand, if you are exceptionally heavy, please check the official capacity of these cots.
Note also that there are significant differences in weight.
