What this is about
Here you have a true folding cot. This means that this is all pre-attached and there are no pieces that you could lose. So there is no assembly, you open or close it in seconds.
On the first look it may appear similar to their Stansport Day Dreamer Space Saver Cot, but this one needs assembly. So this is a completely different structure.
When it is time to go, you fold it and store in its included carry bag shown below.
The packed size is substantial, but the good side of this is that it folds very thin. The packed dimensions are 35 x 23.75 x 3.5 inches (89 x 60 x 9 cm).
Materials
The frame is all aluminum with steel hinges. I like in particular its U-shaped legs because with such a design the cot can be used on any ground.
This is also a floor-friendly design and you can use it safely even in a floored tent as in the picture below.
The fabric is a polyester, but they do not provide any extra information about its denier value.
Who is it for
Regarding the capacity, it is officially for users of up to 225 lb (102 kg). So this is quite a modest value. If you need more please check in my list of cots for heavy people.
Regarding the dimensions, I would describe it as a rather small cot, the dimensions are (L x W x H) 71.25 x 23 x 12.25 inches (181 x 58 x 31 cm).
Note that there is a frame around, and it takes a few centimeters. It is best suited for shorter people and also for kids. If you are a tall person, better check some of these cots.
But note also that you have 31 cm of clearance underneath the cot. So this is lots of space to store your camping gear.
Regarding the weight, this is a very light cot, so my rating for this feature is high.
You have already seen its packed size so you know this is not its best feature. But this is why the cot is so easy to use, a usual trade-off.
Regarding the price, I think this is almost reasonable for such a product. But there are more affordable cots around.

So the best side of this Stansport Weekender Folding Cot is its easy of use, and I also like the fact that it comes with a carry bag. This means you can keep it clean and safe from dust when not in use. But bear in mind its overall dimensions and capacity.
