What type of camping table is this

So here you have a collapsible camping table, and this means it needs a simple assembly when you want to use it. But this is done easily and without any extra tools.

All the elements of this collapsible structure are shown in the picture below. They include the frame with side tables, a windscreen, two accordion-type tabletops, storage compartments, shelves, and a carry bag:

When not in use, the table can be kept in its included carry bag shown in the picture below. As you see it is equipped with straps and it is zippered, so the table will be clean from dust if it is stored in it for a longer period of time. The packed dimensions are 35 x 20 x 6 inches (89 x 51 x 15 cm). Because of all these features, I have included it in my list of best collapsible camping tables.

You have three tabletops here and they offer lots of space for cooking and for dishes. The central grill table is an aluminum accordion-style removable structure. The side tables are folding and they are preattached to the frame.

The main table size is 26 x 13 inches (66 x 33 cm), and it is 31.5 inches (80 cm) above the ground, so this is a perfect height for a grill table. The main dimensions are given in the picture:

Storage space

As you realize from the pictures, this is where this table shines. You have three separate storage compartments with zippers and 5 shelves in total. You will not find many tables on the market that could match such a storage capacity. The picture below shows that the storage compartments are completely closed from the back.

Note also that the storage compartments are removable, you have Velcro tabs that keep them in place. The central compartment can be removed and you have an extra shelf underneath it; this is again an aluminum accordion-type structure similar to the tabletop.

Windscreen

The windscreen is a removable steel structure with three walls, and it raises around 12 inches (30 cm) above the grill table. You can see it in the picture above.

Materials

The frame is aluminum with 19 mm diameter pipes, and the tables are with aluminum frames around. The fabric used for the storage compartments is a durable 600D polyester with a PVC coating.

The side tables appear to be an engineered wood with some plastic on the surface. So it is a good idea to use a sealant to avoid getting water under the surface. It can swell in such a case. I have had such a situation with some other camping table, but the effect is more or less the same.

As you realize from the pictures, the side tables are with locking bars in the corners. There are also several crossbars between the 8 legs, so the structure is very stable and sturdy. The feet are with rubber caps.

Note that with so many legs, it is essential to have a very flat surface. It may be difficult to have this in a camp. The legs are not adjustable, so if you need such a feature check our separate text.

My rating, pros & cons

The table looks a bit expensive but there is lots of stuff here and it is totally worth the investment.

The average rating on Amazon is exceptionally high, this is rarely seen. My own rating is lower, but I have my set of criteria which I apply to all the tables here on the site, so you can easily compare. Please have a look:
