Essentially, this is simply a very specific tent that uses the frame of their Nomad Stand.
The whole set weighs only 5.2 lb (2.35 kg), and its packed size is 18 x 7 x 7 inches (46 x 18 x 18 cm).
The Nomad Guardian Bug Net
The upper body is net as its name says, they call it SkyWeave Mesh, but the floor is a 75D polyester taffeta with 1500 mm PU coating. You have large zippered doors on both sides for an easy access. The picture below shows the net alone attached to the Nomad Stand, and the doors are closed:
The base is bathtub-style and waterproof, and it measures approximately 5’11” x 4’2″ (180 x 127 cm). So the width is more or less what you have at the base of the two stands.
Obviously, this gives lots of storage space to keep your stuff protected and close to you. But you have a bit also under the two vestibules created by the fly.
The canopy is large and you have (L x H x W) 108 x 82 x 54 inches (2.7 x 2 x 1.4 m). These dimensions are again determined by the Nomad Stand construction because the whole set is built to fit it. It is well-ventilated and you have full protection from flying and crawling bugs. You have two lantern hanging loops inside.
Note that the volume inside is increased by a top DAC pole that crosses the central pole of the stand. This is shown in the picture:
Nomad Fly Rain Tarp
The fly is designed with two side vestibules, each with a central zipper, see the picture below. The vestibules are not large but you have some storage space underneath them. You can use one side for storage only and this will give plenty of room.
On both ends you have a clever design, the first is the part of the fly that goes over the hub elements on the top of each of the two stands:
The other detail on both ends are vertical zippers, so you can open them and have increased ventilation and roll to the sides and fix in place (this is seen above). The picture below shows one of the zippers:
With the zippers on all four sides of the fly, you can have as much ventilation as you want. This you can use to stay in a pleasant shade when the sky is clear. You can feel the atmosphere from this picture below. As you realize it offers enough space for you and all your gear and a dog:
The fabric is with double-stitching and the seams are fully taped. This all comes with a stuff sack included.

With this system, you do not need trees and you can set it up on any ground and still have shade when needed.
Rating, pros & cons
I described this system as a very specific tent without its own poles. So it is a bit difficult to rate it properly. If you see it as a tent, it is a bit heavy. But you realize this is a 2-meters tall structure.
On the other hand, it is a pity they did not design the whole system a bit longer so that you can use an ordinary ground cot when/if you want to do so. Nevertheless, my rating is very high:
