What is in the name
Actually, I find the name of this product a bit confusing. In my view, this is a self-supporting or if you wish a freestanding swing chair of a particular type. The concept is very similar to this NEMO Stargaze Recliner Luxury Chair.
Strictly speaking the chair is not a recliner, but you have straps on the sides that allow you to change the position of the backrest. A bit more about the backrest, it is padded and it is very high, so it offers a great headrest where you have a foam pillow shown below. This is why I have included this chair in my list of camping chairs with a headrest.
Materials & construction
For such a free-hanging chair the base is very important so you have 6 feet and several support bars. With so many feet shown below, the chair will not easily sink in any ground. If you use it in a large floored family camping tent it is best to add some small carpet underneath the feet.
The frame is strong powder-coated steel, and the chair itself hangs from the two main poles. The seat is a polyester with some foam padding inside. Note that they have two different colors available, yet another blue chair is on the market (see the picture) and this is exactly the same design.

Who is it for
Regarding the weight, they describe it as lightweight but it weighs 11 lb (5 kg). So this is not something to carry long distances and definitely not lightweight. But it is indeed portable and you have a carry bag with a shoulder strap, see the picture.
Regarding the packed size, it is a bit long when packed, the carry bag size is around 36 x 8 x 8 inches (91 x 20 x 20 cm). So all in all, you need a car for transportation.
Regarding the chair’s capacity, officially it supports up to 300 lb (136 kg). So this should be good enough for most of the users. But see my list of camping chairs for heavy people if you are a very heavy person.
Regarding the dimensions, you will see the numbers below in specifications. The chair is very large and deep when you sit on it, and I have seen some people complaining that it is too large for short users. In any case, the two solid armrests shown in the picture below play an important role in getting in and out of the chair.
Regarding the price, this is a very affordable chair, a great value for the price.
