What this is about
This cot belongs to the class of folding cots, so there is no particular assembly. You simply unfold it and it is ready. This means that all the essential elements remain pre-attached to each other.
This is also a cot without end bars, so the whole length is a useful length. This is possible because of the locking mechanism which you have integrated in its design and this keeps the X-shaped legs from collapsing when you are on the bed. In fact, there are 4 step locks for extra stability.
This should be behind the word Smart in its name. This is a patented technology that allows an easy 30-seconds setup.
Storage elements
You have a lot here, the picture below shows the storage system on the side. It includes various pouches and pockets, some with zippers.
So you have them 7 in total:
- Insulated, adjustable cup holder.
- Eyeglass holder.
- Cell phone holder.
- Padded laptop holder and a double zippered lockable compartment.
This is not all, on the opposite side there is also a small side table with a bottle holster. It is removable for storage. Note also that the cot comes with a carry bag with a zipper and wheels.
Who is it for
Size-wise, the letters XXL in the name describe the fact that this is a huge cot. So indeed this is one of the largest cots currently on the market with its bed that measures 85 x 39 inches (216 x 99 cm).
This is why I have included it in my list of extra-long camping cots and also in the list of extra wide camping cots. The picture below shows its enormous bed deck.
Note also that this is a very tall cot with the bed deck 22 inches (56 cm) above the ground. This may be very suitable for tall people, and also for elderly users because it is easy to get in and out.
Capacity-wise, this cot is again exceptional with its declared 600 lb (272 kg) weight capacity. Not many cots on the market can match this. So I have included it also in my list of cots for heavy people.
Such a capacity is achieved because of its strong powder-coated steel frame and legs, and a durable polyester textured fabric.
Weight-wise, as you would expect from a cot with such a capacity, this is not a lightweight item. It weighs 35.7 lb (16.2 kg). So you would not want to carry it long distances.
The packed size is a but less impressive, the dimensions are 42 x 9.5 x 7 inches (107 x 24 x 18 cm). As you see it is long when packed, but this is a thin bundle. So this is a cot for places with a car access.
Tent use
First, you will need a larger tent, and you have seen how tall this cot is, so it will not fit in very low solo tents.
But its height also implies that you have plenty of storage space underneath the cot. So even in a small tent, the cot will save you the space which is normally lost if you sleep on the ground.
There are 6 feet with plastic caps, I would add something for floor protection, this in particular if the ground is soft.
You do not need a pad for summer camping, except for extra comfort. But you will need a pillow if you are a side or stomach sleeper. In a cooler environment, plant to add some insulation on the bed deck.
Home use
This is a great emergency bed for home use, and for sudden guests. Its capacity and size are such that it will be good enough even if you have a sumo wrestler staying the night at your place.

This is fine for normal sleeping, but sexual activity is questionable. One-way oral sex was fine, but there wasn’t enough room for sixty-nine. Missionary position is okay if you’re gentle but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re rough. Still, it’s one of the better cots for lovemaking. The side pockets are great for lube, contraceptives, toys and magazines. Also a towel for cleanup. The cup holder is large enough to hold two sausages with buns, popcorn or a can of cranberry sauce.
