Overview
What you have here is a purely folding camping cot. This means there is no assembly and all the elements are pre-attached. So you open or close this cot in seconds.
The legs on the two ends fold underneath the bed so it folds roughly in half its length. Then you can store it in its included carry bag shown in the picture.
Note that the end legs are angled outwards, see the picture, so the structure is stable in this direction.
There are also those X-crossed support bars for each pair of legs. So it is quite stable regarding lateral movement too. You have two locking bars that keep the end legs locked when you unfold the cot, one is shown below.
The materials
The frame is steel and this is reflected in its weight. The feet are with some plastic caps, but those are narrow and I would not use the cot in a floored family tent without some extra protection.
There is no information provided about the fabric, but this seems to be a polyester.
If you use it outdoors, you may manage without a pad. But you can add one for extra comfort or if you sleep in a cold environment. See a but more in this video:
Who is it for
Regarding the capacity, I would describe it as modest in view of its official 242 lb (110 kg) capacity. So if you need more, better check in my list of cots for heavy people.
Regarding the dimensions, the bed measures 74.8 x 25.2 inches (190 x 64 cm). So this is quite typical, the size is not spectacular, so if you are a very tall person, check some of these cots.
But observe that the mentioned length is a true useful length, there are no end bars on the head and feet sides. The width is modest, and note that the side rails take a few centimeters.
Regarding the weight, the cot is on the heavy side, it weighs 17.2 lb (7.8 kg) so you would not want to carry it anywhere.
