This Coleman Kids Quad Chair has been on the market for several years already, so it has been tested by many people already and there are lots of reports around. The chair is built for kids so the structure is very easy to use and without assembly, you simply open it like an umbrella. They have added a locking button on the back, on the leg close to the seat. This is a feature that you will frequently see in the camping chairs for kids.

The chair is simple and sturdy with its numerous support bars. The armrests are soft fabric and in one of them the kid has a cup holder, see the picture. So this is a detail your young camper will like.

The frame is steel and the fabric is very strong, this is a 600D polyester.  The same material you will find in Coleman’s camping chairs for adults.

Note that the feet are wide, see the picture below, and this is some plastic material so you can use it even in a floored family camping tent, there will be no issue with the floor. The chair comes with a carry bag equipped with a drawstring and a strap so it can be carried over the shoulder.

Weight-wise this is a light chair in view of its steel frame with so many poles, so the weight is 3.66 lb (1.66 kg). But indeed this is a small chair as well. Note that this Redmon Baby Umbrella Chair with Matching Shoulder Bag weighs almost the same.

It packs relatively small in its carry bag and the size is 25.6 x 5.1 x 4.7 inches (65 x 13 x 12 cm). As you see it is thin but also quite long for its overall size.

Capacity-wise, the chair is officially for the weight of up to 160 lb (73 kg). No doubt this is more than enough for kids of the age in the range 4-10 years.

Size-wise, the seat is 10.2 inches (26 cm) high, so this is for the age mentioned above. I have included it in my list of best little kids camping chairs.

Regarding the price, the chair is very affordable, and this is surely one of the reasons for its popularity, there are many hundreds of reports on Amazon alone.
