Overview

This Slumberjack Bear Creek 80 x 30 Deluxe Adult Camp Cot is deluxe in many ways. But I would start first from its general structure. So this is a folding cot, and this means it is very easy to use and there is no assembly of any kind, you simply open it in seconds.

The picture below shows how it looks when folded, so you realize it is quite bulky and large in two dimensions although indeed it is thin. The folded dimensions are around 34 x 30 x 10 inches (86 x 76 x 25 cm).

This is also a padded cot, and it comes with a pleasant adjustable pillow shown in the picture.

Note that the beige part in the picture above is its removable pad, so you can use it separately as the picture below shows. It fixes to the bed with Velcro tabs.

The bed fabric attaches to the frame through a bungee cord shown below. This is normally a great design because the bed adjusts to your body shape.

Regarding the capacity, this cot is quite typical, it is officially for users of up to 300 lb (136 kg). This should be good enough for most of people. But if you need more, please check my list of camping cots for heavy people.

Regarding the dimensions, the cot is really big, the bed size is 80 x 30 inches (203 x 76 cm). So this is a great size even for very tall users.

Regarding the weight, well, this is not its best feature. The cot is heavy, it weighs 30.36 lb (13.8 kg).

You have already seen its packed size, so in view of all this, you realize this is a cot for places with a car access.
