Overview
So here you have two collapsible cots built in such a way that you can use them separately side by side or completely independently, or as a bunk cot. The picture below shows one of the cots when they are separated.
This is the cot that is used as the upper cot in the bunk set. The difference is that the lower cot has extra legs at the head and feet sides, and the fabric has some additional cut-outs in these areas, see the picture below. This all makes it very similar to the Kampa Bunkie Camp Bunk Bed.
As mentioned, the structure is collapsible so this is both good and bad. The good is that it folds and packs into a small volume. The bad is that it needs an assembly. There are many components and you can see them in the picture:
Obviously, when used separately, or when you need only one cot, you will not need all these elements. These extra parts used for the bunk setup you can see on the right in the picture below.
But in any case, they all fit together nicely in its included carry bag shown below. It measures 33 x 13 x 7.5 inches (84 x 33 x 19 cm).
The materials
All the tubes shown above area robust graphite powder-coated steel. The fabric is a 600D PVC coated interwoven polyester.
Note that the legs are U-shaped bars and they are also with low profile caps. So this is a floor friendly design and you can use the set even in a floored family camping tent.
With such legs, the structure will never sink in the ground. The mentioned two extra legs on the lower cot are added for stability.

Who is it for
Regarding the capacity, each of the cots officially supports up to 265 lb (120 kg). Though I would not go to this limit with the upper cot in the bunk setup, it is best that a kid sleeps there.
Regarding the dimensions, the cots are not really long, you will see the numbers below. But this length is typical for most of the cots on the market. Note that there is a frame around, and this takes a few centimeters.
On the other hand, the bunk structure is quite low, it is only 90 cm high. So this can easily fit in almost any family camping tent. The picture below shows it used in a tunnel-type tent with inner tent and bedrooms. But if you use it in a cabin-type tent with straight and steep walls, it will fit even better.
Observe also that you have 11 inches (28 cm) of space underneath the lower cot. This is a volume of 366 liters, so you have lots of space to store your camping gear and keep it out of way.
Regarding the weight, this is a heavy set, it weighs 40.8 lb (18.5 kg). But you have two cots here so this is not unusual. You have already seen its packed size which is very good for the set of two cots.

So these Outdoor Revolution Premium Folding Bunk Beds are functional and versatile. You can use the two components in several ways, independently or together. This set is suitable for families with kids, and when used as a bunk cot, it saves lots of floor space in the tent.
The cots can be used also by adults but I do not see them suitable for tall users. I have included the set in my list of best stackable camping cots.

what is the best and safest way to get on the top bunk please ?
Hi Pauline, the structure is quite low but the upper side barriers are on the way, so your question is very reasonable. It appears that the designers did not think about it. The safest way would be not to use one of the upper side barriers and simply sit on the upper bed and then raise legs etc., or use a stable low chair or anything similar to climb up.
They have added an extra leg to the lower cot, so this is the place where you also can step on the lower cot and then climb on the upper cot.
