What this is about
I would say that the word Folding in the official name is key to understanding the true nature of this cot.
The meaning is that all you see in the picture above is one single piece, there are no separate elements. The cot folds for transportation as in the picture below, and when you need your bed, it opens in seconds.
When folded like that, you can store it in its included carry bag for transportation. The dimensions when folded are (L x D) 37 x 8 inches (94 x 20 cm).
Materials and construction
The frame here is a strong steel. Note that the feet are very wide and this is a swiveling design which should adapt to uneven surface in the camp and distribute weight better.
The fabric is a 300D recycled ripstop polyester with a nonfluorinated DWR to help moisture bead up on the surface.
It is with a 2-layer polyurethane coating and bluesign approved. You will want to know that this is a product from a Climate Neutral Certified brand.
The cot is with stabilizing straps, one shown above, and with cord loops on the sides that match up with their REI Co-op Campwell sleeping pad (shown below) that can be ordered separately.

Regarding the capacity, it can be described as typical with its 300 lb (136 kg). But this is more than what you have in its competitor Naturehike XJC14 Outdoor Folding Military Bed built in a similar style.
Regarding the dimensions, I would describe them as moderate, the length is typical but the width is less impressive, see the numbers below.
So if you are a tall person check the mentioned Naturehike cot or have a look in my list of cots for tall people.
Observe that the cot is quite high, so this may make it suitable for elderly users. This also allows for lots of space to store your gear in the tent.
Regarding the weight, the cot is indeed heavy with its 17 lb 13 oz (8.1 kg). So this is not something to carry long distances from the car.
You have already seen its packed size and you realize it needs a car for transportation. It is a bit long but narrow tube that will not take much space.
