What this GCI Outdoor SunShade Rocker is about
So here you have a folding camping chair, and this means it is very easy to use and there is no assembly. You open it or close it in seconds.
It comes with a large mouth carry bag shown below, so it is also very easy to store it inside for transportation. Such a carry bag is always great to have also to keep the chair clean from dust when stored for a long time.
The sunshade mentioned in the title is yet another great feature. It can be rotated and adjusted, it is shown below. But it is not removable, it stores together with the chair into the carry bag. If it is windy, you simply fold it completely on the back. Because of this, it is added into my list of best camping chairs with a sunshade.
Other features include a small pouch on the side and a cup holder integrated into its soft armrests.
Materials
I would start with the fabric, so to know that they have it in 7 different colors. The seat fabric is polyester and the backrest is nylon. The sunshade offers SPF UPF 50+ shield against harmful UV rays. This is in the range Excellent.
The frame appears to be a powder-coated steel. They use here their patented Spring Action Rocking Technology that is available in many of their rocking chairs. It delivers smooth rocking on practically any surface. This is because the chair sits on two bars that are on the ground. So the weight is distributed, see the picture. I have included this chair in my list of best rocking camping chairs.

Regarding the size, you can see the dimensions in the picture below. So the chair is large and the seat is quite high. This makes it suitable for taller users.
Regarding the capacity, officially the chair is for a weight of up to 250 lb (113 kg). This is quite a typical number for camping chairs. But if you need much more, check my list of camping chairs for heavy people.
Regarding the weight, I would describe it as heavy in view of its 13 lb (5.9 kg). The packed size shown below is also such that you need a car for transportation.
