What this is about
The name of this chair given in the title above is long and descriptive, and as you see it has some great features. This is a folding chair and this means there is no particular assembly. It comes ready to use so you open it in seconds.
Headrest: The chair is long and with a high backrest so it provides a headrest where you have the removable pillow shown in the picture below. This is why it is added to my list of chairs with a headrest.
Reclining design: The chair has a sort of clamp on each of the back legs, see the picture below, so you can move them in two different positions and this gives the two angles shown in the picture below.
So this is quite a unique design, and I have included it in my list of reclining camping chairs.
Footrest: The footrest is huge and it is removable, there is a zipper that attaches it to the chair, and two poles support it. The chair looks very different with and without the footrest, see the picture below.
This makes the chair versatile and because of this great feature it is in my list of best chairs with a footrest.
The pictures below show some steps in removing the footrest and the supporting poles, this is all easily done and without any tools. This shows also yet another color in which they build this chair.
Storage elements: This includes a bottle/cup holder in one of the soft armrests, and a storage pouch on the side with several mesh pockets, see the picture.
Materials
The frame is steel and the fabric is a 400x300D polyester. As you see from the picture below, a big part of the chair is a breathable mesh so this is great for warm-weather camping.
The feet are particularly large and they will not sink in a soft ground. You can use it on the grass and also in a large floored family camping tent.
Who is it for
Regarding the weight, this is not a chair you would carry long distances, it weighs 12.6 lb (5.7 kg). There are many poles and it is huge so the weight is justified. The manufacturer describes it as “ultra lightweight”, I think this is a bit strong statement.
The packed size 39.4 x 7.87 x 7.28 inches (100 x 20 x 18 cm) is also such that you need a car for transportation.
Regarding the capacity, officially this is only 200 lb (91 kg), quite modest and not for heavy users.
Regarding the dimensions, the chair is big, its total length goes to around 60 inches (152 cm) or so, this is lots of space to sprawl, see the picture. Note that the seat is at around 16-17 inches (40-43 cm) above the ground so it is quite low.
As for the price, this chair is very affordable and this is a great value for the money.
